Culinary Team Canada Manager and Youth Team Canada Manager 2020-2024 Application Package

The Culinary Federation is looking for applicants for the role of Manager, Culinary Team Canada and Manager, Youth Team Canada. The term will be from March 2020 to March 2024, however, respective applicants are encouraged to be prepared to travel with the current Teams to the 2020 IKA in February.

The positions can be held by one individual or a group, thus forming a management team. The current National Team is structured this way and it has proven to be beneficial and more considerate of each participant’s time. Similarly, the Youth Team normally operates in the same way with a number of college faculty assisting. Notwithstanding which structure the applicant(s) chose, the overall roles and responsibilities are outlined below.

 Teams are required to compete at the 2022 Culinary World Cup and the 2024 IKA

 Ensure that all Team Members are CF members in good standing

 Maintain regular communication with the CF Culinary Chair and CF President

 Report annually to the CF membership on the status of the Team

 Appoint all Team Members and Coaches/Mentors.

 All accounting and banking to be done through an incorporated organization such as foundation, local CF branch, etc.

 Provide the CF National Treasurer an annual financial summary to be shared with the National Board and CF members

 Plan, organize, supervise and coordinate all Team competition related activities

 Coordinate and manage all fundraising activities

 Ensure that Team members participate in the fulfillment of all partnership entitlements
